How should I heat my Pit Packs?
All of our Cherry Pit Packs will produce warm moist heat and the uses are up to you.
For the full size Cherry Pit Pack it is recommended that you heat in the mircrowave for 1.5 minutes you can vary the temperature by microwaving a little longer or shorter to find your ideal temperature.
For the small Cherry Pit Pack or the BooBoo bag start with a minute in the microwave and adjust as you desire.
Note: all of the Cherry Pit Packs moist heat will last about 25-30 minutes and can be reheated as needed.
How should I freeze my Cherry Pit Packs?
For freezing simply place any of your Pit Packs in a sealed plastic bag to protect it and freeze at least 3 hours.
How should I clean my Cherry Pit Packs?
Just wash in cold water on a gentle setting and dry in the dryer of low.
Note: My original Cherry Pit Pack is 27 years old and whether it is used to heat or cool it works exactly the same as it did on the first day I used it.
Can I custom order a Cherry Pit Pack?
Yes, of course! We can design something custom for you, such as longer straps or a custom design such as a neck and shoulder version. You can also request a specific college, MLB or NFL fabric that is not on the website. The only limitation is that the fabric must be 100% cotton. Prices will vary according to the amount of customization needed. For specific sports fabric that we do not stock there will be a small stocking fee.
